Fifty Years of Participating in Motorsports   This year marks the 50th anniversary of Toyota's international participation in motorsports, which began in 1957. Looking back over the years, we present some scenes from races and famous racecars that Toyota has been involved with. We intend to use this year's 50th anniversary as an important opportunity to engage in various types of racing events, both in Japan and overseas, to convey to many people the wonderful, endless potential of automobiles through taking up the challenge of participating in motorsports.

Launch of the Harrier and Kluger with the Hybrid Synergy Drive, a Toyota Environmental Technology   The Hybrid Synergy Drive achieves high-level compatibility between environmental performance and power. An introduction to the system's advanced technological capabilities as well as the Harrier Hybrid and the Kluger Hybrid, two vehicles that were developed around the Hybrid Synergy Drive.

EXPO 2005 Aichi, Japan Opens   The 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan (EXPO 2005 Aichi, Japan) opened in Aichi Prefecture under the theme of "Nature's Wisdom." Toyota and other group companies represent themselves through the TOYOTA GROUP PAVILION. The theme of the TOYOTA GROUP PAVILION is "The Dream, Joy and Inspiration of Mobility in the 21st Century." To express this theme, robots, futuristic concept vehicles, IMTS, and other technologies are exhibited.
