As Mr. Uchiyamada explained before, it is vital that a scientific approach based on empirical evidence be employed as the basis for developing safety technology.
In other words, it is vital that we adhere to a rigid process to analyze and evaluate our safety technology. After accident examination and human research, we re-create the accident via CAE, etc. Then, after assessing the technology by incorporating it into our vehicles, we again examine and confirm the effectiveness of this technology within actual marketplace circumstances.
It is especially true that what we learn from actual accidents occuring within the marketplace provides us with the basis for improving our safety technology. |
